THE NEIGHBOURHOOD REUNITES

After a four-year hiatus, The Neighbourhood has reunited, welcoming back drummer Brandon Fried. Before the band broke up, their most recent album was called ‘Chip Chrome & The Mono-Tones’ which released on September 25, 2020 via. Columbia Records. Currently, their most popular songs are ‘Sweater Weather’ and ‘Daddy Issues’.

The band, which paused activity in 2021, following personal challenges and public allegations against Fried, is reuniting and is promising fresh music for their fans. On their recent Instagram story they said “In November 2024, the five of us reunited in the studio. Thank you to everyone who kept the music alive while we were away. We couldn’t feel more honored to do what we do and can’t wait to share this next chapter with you.” The Neighbourhood are most known for their themes of Identify and Self-Reflection, Mental Health and Emotional Struggle and Youth and Modern Life. This has been in represented in their top hits ‘Softcore’ and ‘Sweater Weather’. Because of this, The Neighbourhood are most popular with Generation Z.
