Tickets for Ariana Grande’s ‘Eternal Sunshine Tour’ went on presale this week across the U.S., but many fans were left shocked by the steep prices. With premium seats running intro several hundreds of dollars - and even fake viral posts claiming tickets were selling for over $1 million - social media quickly filled with frustrated reactions.
Ariana Grande’s return to stage with her ‘Eternal Sunshine Tour’ has sparked huge excitement, but also frustration. When presale tickets opened in the U.S. on September 9, many fans were stunned at the high costs.
Standard seats for major arenas climbed above $400, while floor and VIP packages reached $800 in some venues. Even upper-level seats, which are usually the cheapest option, were reported to be priced at more than $150 in certain cities.
Across social media, fans expressed disappointment, with many saying the pricing locked out younger listeners and long-time supporters. Some compared the situation to other recent high-profile tours where demand and dynamic pricing pushed costs well beyond expectations.
Despite the backlash, tickets continued to sell during rapidly during presale, with several venues already close to sending out. Ariana Grande has not yet commented on the concert, but the discussion highlights an ongoing debate about concert ticket affordability in the U.S.
