Taylor Swift’s 12th studio album, ‘The Life of a Showgirl’, is set for release on October 3rd 2025. It was announced during an episode of the ‘New Heights’ podcast with her fiancé Travis Kelce.
‘The Lie of a Showgirl’ captures the exhilaration and chaos of life during her Eras Tour. It is inspired by her experiences performing in massive arenas and behind-the-scenes stories of touring. Taylor Swift channels the glamour, drama, and intensity of show business into this vibrant project. The album features 12 tracks, including standout songs like ‘The Fate of Ophelia’, ‘Opalite’ and ‘Ruin The Friendship’. There is also a title track featuring Sabrina Carpenter. Each song reflects different facets of the showgirl experience - from the loneliness of life in the spotlight to the playful energy of performance.
