
Luke Combs is an American country music singer and songwriter known for his deep, expressive voice and traditional-leaning sound. Born on March 2, 1990, in North Carolina, he grew up with a love of classic country and later studied at Appalachian State University before pursuing music full-time. Combs first gained broad attention by posting songs online and performing in the Southeast. He signed with Sony Music Nashville and released his debut album This One’s for You in 2017, which includes the hits Hurricane and When It Rains It Pours. His 2019 follow-up What You See Ain’t Always What You Get produced several chart-topping singles, such as Beer Never Broke My Heart and Even Though I’m Leaving. He has since released additional music that solidified his status as one of modern country music’s best-selling and most awarded artists. Offstage, he married Nicole Hocking in 2020.
