NewDad is an indie rock band from Galway, Ireland, known for their dreamy soundscapes and raw, introspective lyrics. Formed in 2018, the band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Julie Dawson, guitarist Sean O'Dowd, bassist Áindle O’Beirn, and drummer Fiachra Parslow. The group met while attending secondary school, bonding over a shared love of alternative and shoegaze music.
