She Wants Revenge is an American rock band from San Fernando Valley, California, formed in 2004. The group was founded by Justin Warfield and Adam Bravin, both of whom had been active in the music scene prior to forming the band. Drawing influence from post-punk, new wave, and gothic rock, their music often evokes comparisons to bands like Joy Division, Depeche Mode, and Bauhaus. The duo gained attention with their self-titled debut album, "She Wants Revenge," released in 2006. The album featured the hit single "Tear You Apart," which received significant radio airplay and was later featured in television shows such as "American Horror Story." Their dark, moody sound combined with electronic beats helped establish the band as part of the early 2000s post-punk revival movement. Following the success of their debut, She Wants Revenge released two more studio albums: "This Is Forever" in 2007 and "Valleyheart" in 2011, both continuing their signature blend of dark synth-driven melodies and introspective lyrics. After a brief hiatus, the band reunited for live performances and announced their return to recording new music. Known for their brooding aesthetic and cinematic sound, She Wants Revenge has maintained a dedicated fan base and continues to influence the gothic and alternative rock scenes.
