Lil Baby, whose real name is Dominique Armani Jones, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter from Atlanta, Georgia. He was born on December 3, 1994, and grew up in the city's Oakland City neighborhood. Raised by his mother after his father left when he was two years old, Lil Baby faced challenges early in life and dropped out of high school in the ninth grade. After spending time in prison during his late teens and early 20s, Lil Baby decided to focus on music at the encouragement of childhood friends and fellow Atlanta rappers like Young Thug and Coach K.
