Beabadoobee is the stage name of Beatrice Laus, born June 3, 2000, in Iloilo City, Philippines. She is a Filipino-British singer-songwriter known for her lo-fi, bedroom pop and indie rock sound. She moved to London as a child and began writing songs in her bedroom, uploading early tracks to YouTube and SoundCloud. Her breakout came with the song Coffee in 2017, which helped her secure a deal with Dirty Hit and launch a string of EPs. In 2020 she released her debut album Fake It Flowers, a punchy collection that blends grungy guitars with intimate, introspective lyrics. Beatopia followed in 2022, expanding her sound with dreamier textures and more expansive arrangements. Beabadoobee has become a prominent figure in the indie music scene, known for her earnest storytelling, catchy guitar hooks, and DIY spirit, performing and touring worldwide.
