London formed indie folk band Mary In the Junkyard. Disappointingly it turns out that there is no Mary and no junkyard. It's actually formed by mates Clari Freeman-Taylor (vocals + guitar) and Saya Barbaglia (viola and bass) who met as teenagers and joined by David Addison on drums.Clari and David had been in another band together prior to this new project which started in 2022 with a gig in Stockwell in south-west London.
