Dogstar is an American alternative rock band formed in Los Angeles in the early 1990s. The group is best known for featuring actor and musician Keanu Reeves on bass, alongside drummer Robert Mailhouse and guitarist/vocalist Bret Domrose. After releasing several albums and touring internationally during the 1990s and early 2000s, the band went on hiatus before reuniting in 2022. Dogstar returned with new music and live performances, including their 2023 album *Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees*, continuing their blend of melodic rock, alternative, and post-grunge influences.
