
Westlife is an Irish pop vocal group formed in Dublin in 1998. The original lineup included Shane Filan, Nicky Byrne, Mark Feehily, Kian Egan, and Bryan McFadden, who left in 2004; the quartet continued as a foursome with massive chart success. They earned worldwide fame for their polished pop ballads and covers, delivering hits such as Swear It Again, If I Let You Go, Flying Without Wings, and Uptown Girl, and racking up numerous UK and Ireland number-one songs. After a hiatus around 2012, the group reformed in 2018 and has since pursued new material and live tours, maintaining a devoted fan base. Westlife are among the most successful Irish and British pop acts of all time, known for their tight harmonies and enduring appeal.
