The Lemon Twigs are an American rock band formed by brothers Brian and Michael D’Addario in Long Island, New York. Emerging in the mid-2010s, they built a devoted following with a retro-leaning, exquisitely arranged sound that blends 1960s pop, glam rock, and baroque inflected textures. They began as a duo and soon expanded into a full band for live performances. Their breakthrough came with the concept album Do Hollywood (2016), produced by Jonathan Rado of Foxygen, which drew praise for its flamboyant production and storytelling. They followed with Go to School (2018), another ambitious, character-driven work that continued to fuse theatricality with vintage influences. The Lemon Twigs are known for their exuberant live shows, lush vocal harmonies, and a willingness to push pop conventions with bold, cinematic arrangements.
