Skindred is a Welsh heavy metal band formed in 1998 in Newport. Fronted by vocalist Benji Webbe, they fuse metal with reggae, dub, and punk to create a sound often described as ragga metal. Their breakthrough came with the album Babylon, which includes the hit track Pressure and helped establish their reputation for electrifying live performances. They followed with a string of albums such as Shark, Kill the Power, and Big Tings, continuing to push genre boundaries.
