The album reached its highest chart position at number 4 on the UK Albums Chart and number 29 on the US Billboard 200. It was released through the record label Domino Recording Company. The album was recorded at Studio 2 in Abbey Road Studios, London, and it was produced by Hot Chip themselves, alongside Matthew Herbert.
